How long will my website take to create?

It all depends on how long it takes to decide upon a design and the availability of content. Generally speaking, the process will take between 2-4 weeks from start to finish. However, this really is just a guideline. In theory a website can be created in less than a week, but outside factors generally mean it takes longer.

How many design revisions do I get?

You will get unlimited design revisions.

Can you recreate my current site into a CMS?

If you currently have a website and you would like to have the functionality of a Content Managed System website, then upon inspection, we can tell you how successfully we can recreate your current website. Your exisiting website would have to be recreated from the ground up, so certain things may have to be changed slightly in order to adapt it to work with our CMS system. Your exisiting site would remain untouched throughout the whole process and a parallel site created.

Do you only do pay monthly plans?

Yes! Our pay monthly plans are so popular that we decided that this was the best way to charge for our websites.  It means that you get continued support and updates to your site and you know exactly how much your website is costing you as the monthly charge also includes minor updates and additions to your website.

Why do you use Google Apps for email?

We use Google Apps Standard for your email as it is independant to your hosting. If you decide to change from us in the future (we obviously hope that you don't!), then you can just take your Google Apps email with you without all the aggrevation of changing systems.

How much email mailbox space do I get?

We use Google Apps Standard for your email. With this system you get up to 10 users each with over 10Gb of storage space. Each user can have up to 30 aliases, so for example you could have This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it all pointing to the same mailbox. If you ever need to expand your mailbox and number of users, then you can upgrade to Google Apps for Business where you pay per user on a monthly basis.

How do I access my email?

You can access your email directly through the Internet where you can also add new users and change other settings. You also have full IMAP access to your email, so you can use most mail clients including Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook. You can also access your emails from any smartphone which supports Gmail (there's not many that don't!), such as iPhone, Blackberry or any Android device.

I need some changes done to my website - can you do it and how much will it cost?

Yes, the monthly price includes support which includes minor updates and edits to your site as part of the deal.

How do I get a domain name?

If you don't already have a domain name, we will take care of this for you. Simply send us a list of domain names that you would like to use in order of preference and we'll do the rest. The domain name will be registered in your name, so you have full control over it. If you already have a domain name, then we will need access to the domain name host in able to set up the hosting nameservers. If you would like multiple domain names pointing at the same website, then no problem, we can take care of that too.

Am I tied into a contract?

Yes! It takes time and effort to develop a website, so if we didn't have a contract length, then you could just walk away after 1 month with a shiny new website for the cost of a good night down the pub!  That doesn't seem fair to us, so we have a 24 month contract length after which time you will fully own the website.  After the 24 months, you continue to pay the monthly charge, but are free to cancel with a 1 month cancellation period.  However, if you commit to an additional year, then we will revamp your existing site if you so desire with a fresh look.

Where is my website hosted?

We use a cloud based hosting provider based in the UK with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. You will have full access to your hosting which puts you in control if you need it.
